Admission Procedure
COS, Mukerian is an independent school and admission is entirely a matter of the management’s decision based on professional criterion and at the discretion of the Principal.
The purpose of our admission policy is to help you through the admission process effectively and to help you place your child in the appropriate class at Cambridge Overseas School. The more relevant information we have, the more effectively we will be able to achieve this.
Age criteria
These are the guidelines for dates of birth for children entering Cambridge Overseas School. We believe students should be with children of the same age, tackling tasks with the appropriate intellectual challenge.
Preceding Entry to the class
- Entering Pre K – 2 ½ by 31 March
- Entering K1 – 3 ½ by 31 March
- Entering K2 – 4½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 1 – 5 ½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 2 – 6 ½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 3 – 7 ½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 4 – 8 ½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 5 – 9 ½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 6 – 10½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 7 – 11½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 8 – 12½ by 31 March
- Entering Class 9 – 13½ by 31 March
REQUIREMENTS:
Documents to carry while applying for the admission as per listed below:
- Aadhaar Card of Student (Photocopy)
- Aadhaar Card of Father (Photocopy)
- Aadhaar Card of Mother (Photocopy)
- Photograph of the student (5 copies)
- Photograph of the Father (1 copy)
- Photograph of the Mother (1 copy)
- Birth Certificate in Original
- Transfer Certificate from Grade: II to IX
- E-Punjab School Leaving Certificate
- Udise P.E.N. No.
